Correct an Assigned Asset Tag

If you assign an incorrect tag to multiple assets, Tenable recommends that you take the following approach to correct the tags:

• Create the new, correct tag.
• Identify assets with the incorrect tag.
• Assign the new, correct tag to the assets identified in the previous step.
• Delete the old, incorrect tag.
